Project Manager (Civil)

Job Description

Hiring an experienced Project Manager to oversee, manage and execute all civil construction activities for our commercial project in Kochi. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented professional with strong technical knowledge, leadership ability, and proven experience in end-to-end project execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all civil construction activities at the project site.
• Ensure execution of work strictly as per approved drawings, technical specifications, and quality standards.
• Coordinate with structural consultants, architects, MEP engineers, contractors, and vendors to ensure smooth project execution.
• Monitor daily site progress and ensure timely completion in line with project schedules.
• Prepare and maintain daily progress reports, material reconciliation records, and quality checklists.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety protocols, environmental standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Verify contractor bills, work measurements, work orders, and material consumption.
• Assist in material planning, indenting, procurement follow-ups, and maintaining adequate stock levels on site.
• Identify issues, propose corrective actions, and ensure continuous improvement in construction processes.
• Provide leadership to site teams and ensure adherence to organizational standards and project goals.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil engineering with MBA in Project Management is an added advantage).
• 5 -10 years of experience in construction project management.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, engineering principles, safety standards, and quality control systems.
• Proficiency in project management tools, MS Office, AutoCAD (preferred), and site documentation practices.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Strong problem-solving ability with a focus on timely execution.
• Ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams and manage multiple vendors/contractors effectively.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹1,500,000.00 per year
