Taft Construction, Inc., a well-established Class A commercial general contractor based in Culpeper, VA, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our growing team.

We specialize in public and institutional projects, including schools, municipal buildings, and community facilities throughout Central and Northern Virginia. With over 30 years in business and consistent growth, we offer a stable platform with real opportunity for long-term advancement.

What You’ll Do

• Manage commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
• Coordinate subcontractors, schedules, and project logistics
• Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets
• Lead communication with owners, architects, and field staff
• Procure materials and subcontractors
• Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of experience as a Project Manager (commercial construction preferred)
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Experience with project management software (Procore preferred; Sage 100 Contractor / Masterbuilder a plus)
• Self-motivated with a proactive, problem-solving mindset

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: $85,000 – $120,000+ (based on experience)

Location Requirement

This is an in-person role based in Culpeper, VA. Candidates must be able to reliably commute or relocate prior to starting.
