Job Overview:
The Senior Project Manager will report directly to the Project Director, managing the full project lifecycle. This role requires a skilled professional with a strong background in project and construction management of luxury 5-star resorts, a solid understanding of FIDIC contracts, design & build procurement, delivery, and the ability to coordinate effectively with all design & delivery consultants, suppliers, contractors, senior management, and stakeholders. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential for handling the complexities of this high-profile development. Design Coordination skills are desired.
Planning experience with MS Project would be an advantage.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Project Director in managing the lifecycle of the project, focusing on monitoring progress, identifying risks, and maintaining timelines.
- Support the administration of contracts, working closely with the commercial team to ensure compliance with contract deliverables and resolving issues in collaboration with the Project Director.
- Review contractor and consultant submissions to confirm they align with contractual obligations and project requirements.
- Compile detailed and accurate weekly and monthly project reports, including progress updates and risk assessments.
- Prepare visually engaging presentations and dashboards using Excel and PowerPoint to present project performance effectively
- Act as a liaison between internal teams, consultants, and contractors to ensure alignment and smooth day-to-day operations.
- Facilitate regular coordination meetings to review progress and resolve operational issues.
- Conduct site visits as needed to observe construction activities, verify adherence to project plans, and ensure quality standards are upheld.
- Step in to manage site-level coordination in the absence of other Project Managers. Maintain clear and regular communication with stakeholders and the Project Director to support informed decision-making.
Qualifications and Skills:
- 7+ years of project management experience in real estate development, preferably within the hospitality or resort sector.
- Proven experience managing contracts, including familiarity with FIDIC and other industry-standard agreements.
- PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certifications are highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools including Aconex and MS Project.
Understanding of construction site workflows and the ability to effectively oversee on-site activities when required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines.
- Capability to work under pressure and adapt to dynamic project requirements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact with stakeholders at all levels
- Willingness to travel to project sites as needed and step into various roles to ensure smooth project execution.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED40,000.00 - AED50,000.00 per month
