Position Summary

Bridge Brothers is seeking a Construction Project Manager to lead the successful execution of bridge construction projects from our headquarters in Pickens, SC. This role will focus on coordinating project planning, fabrication support, and field execution while ensuring alignment with drawings, safety protocols, and project schedules.

While experience with civil or structural work is ideal, we are equally open to candidates with a strong construction management background who have led complex projects involving concrete, steel, and field coordination. Whether you come from a construction PM, site superintendent, or project engineer path, what matters most is your ability to lead teams, problem-solve effectively, and deliver high-quality projects safely and efficiently.

This role is primarily office and shop-based with little to no travel required. The ideal candidate will have a strong presence in our Pickens facility, working closely with engineers, fabrication, logistics, and installation teams.

Key Responsibilities

Project Execution & Oversight

  • Oversee project planning, scheduling, and coordination from kickoff through completion.

  • Interpret and implement engineering drawings, blueprints, and project specifications.

  • Collaborate closely with fabrication, engineering, and field teams to ensure project readiness.

  • Monitor progress against milestones and adjust plans to maintain schedules.

  • Enforce safety standards and ensure compliance with OSHA and company protocols.

  • Support field teams remotely by troubleshooting issues and providing timely solutions.

Communication & Coordination

  • Serve as the main point of contact between internal teams, subcontractors, and clients.

  • Lead project meetings; report progress, challenges, and updates to stakeholders.

  • Address scope changes, delays, or conflicts through proactive, solution-oriented communication.

  • Provide consistent project updates, reports, and documentation.

Logistics & Documentation

  • Coordinate delivery schedules and material readiness with fabrication and field teams.

  • Track project activities, materials, and documentation to maintain accurate records.

  • Manage RFIs, redlines, inspection reports, and close-out documentation.

  • Support final project completion including punch lists, as-built drawings, and client walkthroughs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred (equivalent construction experience considered in place of degree).

  • 5+ years of construction experience, ideally involving civil, structural, or steel projects.

  • Proven leadership with the ability to manage internal teams and subcontractors.

  • Strong understanding of construction processes, including foundations, concrete, grading, and structural steel.

  • Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, site plans, and technical drawings.

  • Skilled in clear, direct, and respectful communication across diverse teams.

  • Proficiency in construction documentation tools (e.g., Procore, Excel, mobile apps).

  • OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred.

  • Valid driver’s license required.

Role Details

  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, Full-Time (occasional evenings or weekends as needed)

  • Employment Type: Exempt, Salaried

  • Location: Based in Pickens, SC — little to no travel required

  • Benefits: Eligible after 90 days (medical, dental, vision, life insurance, PTO, paid holidays)

  • Equipment: Company phone provided
