Boulder Community Health is seeking a Project Manager to oversee and coordinate construction projects across hospital and medical office facilities. This role serves as the primary liaison between BCH and construction partners, including contractors, architects, and vendors, ensuring projects are executed in alignment with organizational standards and project goals.

The Project Manager is responsible for managing the planning, design, and construction of new and renovated facility spaces while ensuring compliance with BCH building standards, Facility Guidelines Institute (FGI) requirements, applicable building codes, and regulatory standards. This position works closely with the BCH Construction Project Steering Committee (CPSC) to communicate project progress, identify risks, and support key decisions throughout the project lifecycle.

This role plays a critical part in delivering safe, functional, and high-quality healthcare environments by ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with project specifications.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or related field or equivalent preferred.
  • Working knowledge of scheduling programs and understands successors/predecessors’ relationships and resource loading, and delays preferred.
  • ASHE CHC, CHFM, Trained in ICRA 2.0, relevant certifications (e.g., PMP) preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in construction management required, preferably in healthcare facilities.
  • 3 years Healthcare Facility Management Operations (manager or directorship) preferred.
Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day construction activities for hospital and medical facility projects, coordinating closely with contractors, architects, and project superintendents.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between Boulder Community Health and construction partners to ensure project plans are executed accurately and on schedule.
  • Coordinate equipment installation with the designated equipment project manager and third-party vendors.
  • Review construction plans and specifications to ensure accuracy, compliance with BCH standards, building codes, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support project planning activities including schedule development, storage needs, and coordination of RFIs, change orders, and contractor inquiries.
  • Coordinate critical construction activities such as hot work permits, utility shutdowns, system cutovers, life safety planning, and infection control measures.
  • Prepare for and support building and regulatory inspections, ensuring construction work meets required codes and standards.
  • Provide regular project updates to the Construction Project Steering Committee (CPSC), communicating site activity, risks, issues, and key decisions.
