Project Manager / Director - Healthcare Projects

Overview

Euro Group for Engineering Consultancy is seeking a highly creative and experienced Project Manager / Director to spearhead the architectural design of hospitals and other healthcare facilities across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This role requires a passionate and visionary leader with a specialized and deep understanding of the unique design considerations for modern healthcare environments, KSA building codes, and a proven ability to translate client needs into innovative and functional spaces that promote patient well-being and efficient healthcare delivery. The Project Manager / Director will be responsible for overseeing all design aspects of projects, from conceptualization to detailed design and construction documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead the architectural design process specifically for hospitals, clinics, medical centers, and other healthcare facilities,ensuring creative and functional solutions that meet client needs and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and champion design conceptsthat reflect current best practices inhospital design,infection control, accessibility standards, and promote patient well-being, operational efficiency, and aesthetic appeal.
• Oversee the preparation of architectural drawings, specifications, and construction documents,ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with KSA building codes, healthcare regulations, andspecialized requirements for healthcare construction.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorshipto junior architects and designers, fostering a collaborative and innovative design environmentfocused on excellence in healthcare design.
• Collaborate effectively with clients, healthcare professionals, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholdersto ensure seamless project executionand alignment with healthcare operational needs.
• Conduct site visits and inspectionsto monitor design implementation and ensure adherence to specifications,with a particular focus on compliance with healthcare standards.
• Stay abreast of the latest trends and technologiesinhospital and healthcare architecture, including evidence-based design, sustainable practices, and innovative materials. Incorporate them into design solutions.
• Manage design budgets and schedules, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited university.
• Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in architectural design, with aprimaryfocus ondesigning and delivering hospitals, medical centers, clinics and other types of healthcare facilities withinthe Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
• Deep andspecializedunderstanding of KSA building codes, healthcare regulations, and construction practices (Saudi Building Code, Ministry of Health standards, infection control, accessibility).
• Proficiency in architectural design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, BIM).
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated leadership ability and experience in managing design teams.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Fluency in Arabic and English is mandatory requirement
• Preference will be given to Saudi Nationals
