Project Manager – Electrical Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager – Electrical Engineer to lead and manage electrical works for major construction and oil & gas projects. The ideal candidate must have at least 12 years of relevant experience, strong background in EPC or construction companies, and proven hands-on experience delivering ADNOC projects in compliance with ADNOC standards and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end project management for electrical systems across construction/oil & gas projects.
  • Oversee design, engineering, installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems.
  • Ensure full compliance with ADNOC codes, standards, and project specifications.
  • Manage project schedules, budgets, resources, and deliverables to ensure on-time completion.
  • Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams.
  • Prepare project plans, progress reports, method statements, and technical documentation.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement corrective actions to mitigate project risks.
  • Review and approve electrical drawings, material submittals, and technical queries.
  • Ensure strict adherence to HSE guidelines and site safety procedures.
  • Lead project meetings, resolve technical issues, and ensure quality control at all phases.
  • Oversee procurement planning for electrical materials and equipment.
  • Support project close-out activities including handover, as-built documentation, and final approvals.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (Master’s preferred).
  • Minimum 12 years of experience in Electrical Engineering within construction/EPC.
  • Mandatory ADNOC project execution experience (onshore/offshore preferred).
  • Proven track record managing large-scale industrial, commercial, or oil & gas electrical projects.
  • Strong understanding of ADNOC engineering standards, specifications, and workflows.
  • Experience in managing multidisciplinary teams and subcontractors.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (Primavera P6, MS Project, etc.).
  • Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
