The University System of Georgia (USG) is comprised of 26 higher education institutions as well as the University System Office (USO). Within the USO, our administrative operations are primarily housed in the Trinity Washington Building located in downtown Atlanta. Our Information Technology Services (ITS) division is located in Athens. The University System of Georgia Shared Services Center (SSC) is located in Sandersville. This is a term-limited position that provides essential operational, logistical, and support to Unified ERP's Program Management Office (PMO) through the entire program lifecycle, applying a consistent organizational approach. The Unified ERP Program is a Workday implementation spanning Finance, HR/Payroll, and related technology, organizational change management, and service delivery functions, delivered across all University System of Georgia (USG) institutions within a single, shared Workday platform. This role helps drive program efficiency by coordinating project activities, maintaining documentation, managing communications, and supporting governance processes across these domains. This role ensures program visibility and alignment by documenting key discussions, tracking actionable follow-ups, and supporting the project manager through delegated responsibilities that enable the effective delivery of this complex, system-wide initiative.
This is a professional entry level position responsible for assisting personnel in higher education system divisions and departments to develop, monitor, and manage large scale projects. The position will assist with components and phases of the project and communicate project statuses to stakeholders and decision makers.
Bachelor's degree.
Over one year of related experience required.
Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge of Board of Regents policies and procedures
Knowledge of and proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools (Teams, Outlook, OneDrive, SharePoint, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Skill in oral and written communication, with the ability to capture meeting minutes, summarize discussions, and interact professionally with stakeholders.
Skill in problem solving, triaging, and escalating program related issues.
Ability to work independently, proactive, and work in a fast-paced program environment.
Ability to quickly learn new tools, systems, and processes.
Ability to effectively multi-task.
Ability to organize, prioritize tasks, schedule meetings, and manage logistics.
Ability to maintain a high level of detail when documenting RAID items, action items, and program materials.
