Project Manager - Events

Soundtribe Dubai is looking for a highly organized and proactive Project Manager to oversee the planning and execution of events and AV productions. The ideal candidate has strong experience in live events, sound, lighting, staging, and technical operations, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring high-quality delivery and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage events from inquiry stage to final execution and breakdown.
• Coordinate with clients, suppliers, venues, and internal technical teams.
• Prepare project timelines, equipment lists, crew schedules, and logistics plans.
• Ensure all sound, lighting, staging, and AV requirements are delivered correctly and on time.
• Conduct site visits and technical assessments when required.
• Supervise setup, live operation, and dismantling of events.
• Monitor project budgets, expenses, and profitability.
• Handle last-minute changes and troubleshoot operational issues efficiently.
• Maintain high standards of communication, professionalism, and client service.
• Work closely with warehouse and operations teams to ensure equipment readiness.
• Ensure health and safety procedures are followed during all productions.

Requirements

• Previous experience in event production, AV rental, or live events management.
• Strong understanding of professional sound, lighting, staging, and DJ equipment.
• Ability to manage multiple projects under pressure.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with corporate events, private events, concerts, and nightlife events is preferred.
• Valid UAE driving license is a plus.
• Fluent English required; additional languages are an advantage.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of audio consoles, lighting systems, trussing, and stage setups.
• Experience coordinating technical crews and freelancers.
• Familiarity with event scheduling and project management software.
• Ability to read floor plans and technical drawings.
