We are seeking a Project Manager for our Austin office to lead faith based projects from master planning through construction closeout. You will serve as a trusted advisor to church leaders, building committees, and congregations throughout Texas.

What You Will Do
  • Lead faith based projects including master plans, renovations, additions, and new construction through programming, design, documentation, construction administration, and closeout.
  • Engage stakeholders including pastors, elders, ministry staff, facilities leaders, finance committees, and congregations. Facilitate workshops, focus groups, and
  • presentations.
  • Translate ministry goals into adaptable design solutions for worship, education, and fellowship environments. Balance hospitality, acoustics and AVL coordination, accessibility, and safety.
  • Oversee project delivery including schedules, budgets, work plans, risk management, and quality control. Coordinate consultants and contractors.
  • Represent FGMA in interviews, client presentations, and community forums. Support business development and pursuits throughout Texas.
  • Mentor project teams and help grow our Faith Based practice through knowledge sharing and coaching.
What You Bring
  • Ten or more years of architectural experience with a strong focus on faith based or community serving projects. Your portfolio may include worship, education, and multi use ministry environments.
  • Licensed Architect with a professional degree from an accredited program.
  • Proven leadership in project management, consultant coordination, and client engagement. Skilled facilitator with executive and lay leader audiences.
  • Working knowledge of religious facility planning, education and fellowship programming, sustainability, and high performance design. Proficiency in Revit and project management software. LEED accreditation is preferred.
  • Ability to travel regionally to serve congregations throughout Texas.
