Project Manager – Fit-Out, Interior & Civil Projects

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager to lead and manage our interior fit-out and joinery projects across the UAE. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil fit-out works, excellent technical knowledge, exceptional site management skills, and proven client relationship abilities. This role requires a proactive leader capable of driving projects from inception to successful completion, ensuring quality, safety, and client satisfaction. Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Coordination

• Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and resource allocation to meet client deadlines and budget constraints.
• Monitor project progress daily, identify deviations, and implement corrective measures promptly.
• Coordinate effectively between design teams, procurement, site supervision, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless execution.
• Prepare and maintain detailed project documentation including schedules, progress reports, meeting minutes, and risk logs.

Technical Management & Support

• Review and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings and specifications to ensure compliance with design intent and local regulations.
• Oversee technical problem solving on-site, liaising with design consultants, engineers, and suppliers to resolve issues efficiently.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure adherence to technical standards and project specifications.
• Collaborate with Quality Control teams to uphold high standards of workmanship throughout the project lifecycle.

Site Management & Supervision

• Lead daily site operations, ensuring all activities comply with safety regulations, company policies, and contract requirements.
• Supervise subcontractors and trades to maintain productivity and quality.
• Ensure site cleanliness, safety protocols, and proper material storage.
• Manage site logistics including manpower, equipment, and materials delivery schedules.

Procurement & Cost Control

• Assist in the procurement process by evaluating material requirements, obtaining quotations, and coordinating orders with suppliers.
• Monitor material deliveries and site utilization to avoid delays or wastage.
• Maintain strict budget control by tracking expenses, change orders, and variations.
• Support the Finance department with timely invoicing and payment processing for suppliers and subcontractors.

Quality Assurance & Control

• Implement quality management systems to ensure that all fit-out works meet client specifications and UAE regulatory standards.
• Conduct snagging inspections and ensure timely resolution of defects or non-conformities.
• Ensure final project handover is complete with all necessary documentation, certifications, and approvals.

Client Relationship & Communication

• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining regular communication to provide project updates, manage expectations, and address concerns.
• Facilitate meetings with clients, consultants, and stakeholders to ensure alignment on project objectives and deliverables.
• Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships to support repeat business opportunities.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in managing high-value client projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum 7-10 years of relevant UAE experience managing fit-out and interior projects, with proven expertise in civil fit-out and joinery works.
• Strong knowledge of local building codes, health and safety regulations, and industry standards.
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office Suite, project scheduling software (MS Project, Primavera, or similar).
• Outstanding communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Valid UAE driving license is mandatory.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
