Location: Maryland (Headquarters)

Travel: Required – Multi‑State Job Sites

About the Company

We are a Maryland‑based architectural precast erection contractor operating across multiple states. Our teams handle complex precast panel installation, structural coordination, rigging operations, welding, grouting, and field logistics with a strong commitment to safety, quality, and schedule performance. We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with hands‑on knowledge of precast erection to support our growing workload.

Position Summary

The Project Manager oversees all phases of precast erection projects—from pre‑planning and coordination through field execution and closeout. This role requires regular travel to job sites to support crews, monitor progress, ensure safety compliance, and maintain strong communication with clients and general contractors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead planning and coordination for precast erection, including crane selection, rigging plans, sequencing, and site logistics
  • Conduct site visits to monitor installation progress, safety, and quality
  • Coordinate with field supervisors, crane operators, rigging teams, welders, and grouting crews
  • Review and interpret erection drawings, shop drawings, and connection details
  • Manage project schedules, manpower planning, and daily/weekly reporting
  • Track project costs, change orders, and material/equipment needs
  • Communicate with general contractors, engineers, and precast manufacturers
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, state regulations, and company safety standards
  • Support problem‑solving in the field, including connection issues, tolerance adjustments, and sequencing conflicts
  • Oversee project closeout, punch lists, and documentation

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience in precast erection, structural steel, or heavy construction project management
  • Strong understanding of precast components, rigging, crane operations, and erection sequencing
  • Ability to travel regularly to job sites across multiple states
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to read and interpret erection drawings and connection details
  • Proficiency with project management software and Microsoft Office
  • Valid driver’s license

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience managing precast erection crews or field operations
  • Knowledge of welding, bolting, grouting, and tolerance requirements
  • Familiarity with PCI standards and multi‑state compliance
  • OSHA 30, PMP, or other relevant certifications
