Project Manager – Healthcare Facilities

A leading healthcare provider in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Project Manager – Healthcare Facilities to oversee and deliver critical infrastructure, renovation, and expansion projects within a dynamic hospital environment.

This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with a strong blend of project delivery, facilities management, and healthcare compliance expertise , capable of managing projects in live clinical settings while ensuring minimal disruption to operations.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management & Delivery

• Lead the planning and execution of hospital renovation, expansion, and infrastructure projects
• Manage end-to-end project lifecycle from concept and design through to completion and handover
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to required quality standards

Facilities & Technical Oversight

• Oversee MEP systems, infrastructure upgrades, and asset lifecycle projects
• Coordinate closely with FM teams, contractors, consultants, and vendors
• Ensure integration of medical equipment and technical systems within project scope

Compliance & Standards

• Ensure full compliance with DOH, DHA (where applicable), and international standards (JCI)
• Maintain strict adherence to health, safety, and infection control protocols
• Manage approvals, permits, and regulatory submissions as required

Stakeholder Management

• Act as the key interface between clinical, operational, and technical teams
• Coordinate with senior leadership on capital projects and strategic initiatives
• Manage external contractors and consultants to ensure performance and accountability

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
• Minimum 8–12 years of experience in:
• Healthcare project management
• Hospital facilities or infrastructure projects
• Proven experience managing projects in live hospital or clinical environments
• Strong understanding of:
• MEP systems in healthcare facilities
• Regulatory frameworks (DOH/DHA/JCI)
• PMP certification or equivalent is preferred
