Job Summary
The Project Manager is responsible for the overall planning, execution, control, and successful delivery of high-rise building projects in Dubai. The role involves managing site operations, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, ensuring compliance with contract requirements, Dubai authority regulations, safety standards, quality, and project timelines while maintaining cost control.
Key ResponsibilitiesProject Planning & Execution
- Manage the complete lifecycle of high-rise building projects from mobilization to handover.
- Develop and monitor project schedules, resources, and construction sequences.
- Ensure works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and contract requirements.
- Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
Site & Team Management
- Lead site management teams including construction managers, engineers, QA/QC, HSE, and subcontractors.
- Conduct regular site meetings and progress reviews.
- Ensure effective communication between site and head office.
Contract & Commercial Control
- Manage project budgets, cash flow, and cost control in coordination with commercial teams.
- Monitor variations, claims, and extensions of time.
- Ensure compliance with contract conditions (FIDIC-based contracts common in Dubai).
Quality, Safety & Compliance
- Ensure strict implementation of HSE policies and Dubai authority safety requirements.
- Oversee QA/QC processes and ensure high-quality workmanship.
- Ensure compliance with Dubai Municipality, Civil Defence, DEWA, RTA, and other authority requirements.
Risk & Stakeholder Management
- Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Manage client and consultant relationships professionally.
- Address project issues and disputes promptly and effectively.
Reporting & Handover
- Prepare regular progress, cost, and risk reports for senior management.
- Oversee testing, commissioning, snagging, and final handover.
- Ensure timely project close-out and documentation submission.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master’s is an advantage).
- Minimum 15–20 years’ experience in construction, with 5+ years as Project Manager on high-rise projects in the UAE.
- Proven experience delivering high-rise towers (residential, commercial, or mixed-use).
- Strong knowledge of FIDIC contracts and UAE construction practices.
