The Project Manager II will support multiple internal product and software development or service projects ensuring success by developing and tracking budgets, timelines, and metrics, while supporting continual process improvement and risk management.

Job Responsibilities:

• Project Planning and Execution
  • Assist in developing project plans under the guidance of senior project managers
  • Participate in regular project meetings to track progress
  • Provide support and encouragement to team members
  • Help manage project timelines and ensure tasks are completed on time
• Stakeholder Communication
  • Communicate project status and updates to internal team members
  • Assist in collaborating with vendors and suppliers
• Software Development/Service Delivery Focus
  • Support the alignment of project goals with technical or client requirements
  • Assist in establishing and optimizing the software development life cycle (SDLC) or service delivery processes
  • Work closely with development or project teams to understand their needs
• Product and Service Management Overlaps
  • Assist in prioritizing project roadmaps alongside product management
  • Assist in prioritizing service projects alongside service teams, ensuring that client and business needs are aligned
  • Support bid assessment and contract planning
  • Help ensure quality standards align with product or service deliverable expectations
• Stakeholder Engagement and Reporting
  • Communicate project updates and milestones to team leads
  • Provide relevant information to managers to keep them informed about project progress
  • Tailor communication style to suit different audiences within the team
• Risk Mitigation and Decision-Making
  • Identify potential risks and propose mitigation strategies to senior project managers
  • Seek input from senior project managers on critical decisions related to project scope, budget, and resource allocation
• Strategic Alignment
  • Align project tasks with the organization’s strategic vision
  • Engage in discussions with team leads to ensure projects contribute to overall business or client objectives
• Change Management
  • Communicate changes in project direction, scope adjustments, or resource reallocations to the team
  • Obtain buy-in from team leads for any significant changes
• Conflict Resolution
  • Address minor conflicts or disagreements within the project team and escalate if needed
  • Seek guidance from senior project managers when resolving complex issues.
• Metrics and Performance Tracking
  • Assist in defining and tracking key performance metrics related to software development projects
  • Regularly assess project progress, identify bottlenecks, and propose improvements
• Harmonization Across Departments
  • Support the standardization of processes across different business units to enhance efficiency and consistency
  • Facilitate collaboration and knowledge sharing among teams
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• 6+ years of project management experience
• Project Management Professional (PMP) is a plus
• Job related experience using AI or GenAI required
• Excellent client-facing, written, and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking abilities
• Advanced computer skills including a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) solutions and project management software
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Strategic decision making skills
• Great at collaborating with a variety of colleagues and clients on important projects
• High energy and passionate personality
• Maintain a positive attitude while interacting with colleagues and clients
• Self-motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision
• Occasional travel for meetings and trainings

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, science, or related field preferred
