Job Description:
- Lead the planning and execution of projects to achieve timely completion while maintaining cost efficiency.
- Keep management consistently informed through clear and timely updates on project progress.
- Proactively identify risks, evaluate potential impacts, and implement plans to minimize disruptions.
- Champion a strong safety culture by enforcing jobsite safety standards and practices.
- Oversee quality expectations by ensuring work aligns with project specifications and established QA/QC procedures.
- Troubleshoot and resolve field issues as they arise, making decisions that keep projects moving forward.
- Develop, maintain, and drive the Master Project Schedule to ensure project milestones are met.
- Partner with the preconstruction team to support planning, budgeting, and project setup.
- Coordinate with Finance to initiate billing processes and monitor payment timelines.
- Provide regular updates on schedule and financial performance through Operations Review Meetings.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5+ years of progressive construction experience
- Civil Engineering or Construction Management bachelor’s degree or possesses equivalent experience.
- Excellent interpersonal communication, including both oral and written skills.
- Computer skills, including proficiency with CAD and Microsoft Excel preferred.
- Strong ability to work both autonomously and with active management involvement.
- Demonstrated ability to promote a safe work environment.
- Ability to problem solve and adjust to changing circumstances.
