Job Summary

We are seeking a versatile Project Manager Infrastructure & Software Development to lead and deliver complex IT initiatives spanning infrastructure projects and software development. This role requires managing cross-functional teams, aligning technical execution with business goals, and ensuring timely, high-quality delivery across both domains.

Key Responsibilities Project Leadership

• Manage end-to-end project lifecycle for infrastructure and software development projects
• Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and success criteria
• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocations

Infrastructure Projects

• Lead initiatives such as:
  • Data center migrations and upgrades
  • Server provisioning, virtualization, and storage implementations
  • Network upgrades, firewall changes, and connectivity validation
• Coordinate with infrastructure, network, and security teams
• Oversee hardware lifecycle, asset tracking, and environment readiness

Software Development Projects

• Manage Agile/Scrum or Waterfall-based software development projects
• Collaborate with engineering teams on:
  • Application development and releases
  • API integrations and system enhancements
  • QA, testing, and deployment cycles
• Facilitate sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives (if Agile)

Stakeholder & Communication Management

• Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders
• Provide regular status updates, reports, and risk assessments
• Align technical teams with business objectives

Risk & Change Management

• Identify risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies
• Ensure adherence to change management processes
• Manage scope changes and project impacts effectively

Execution & Governance

• Track project progress, milestones, and deliverables
• Ensure compliance with organizational standards and best practices
• Coordinate cross-functional teams (Dev, QA, Infra, Security, Vendors)

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 6 10+ years of experience in IT Project Management
• Proven experience managing both infrastructure and software development projects
• Strong knowledge of:
  • IT infrastructure (servers, networking, cloud environments)
  • Software development lifecycle (SDLC)
• Experience with Agile, Scrum, and/or Waterfall methodologies
• Hands-on experience with tools such as:
  • JIRA, Confluence
  • MS Project / Smartsheet
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications:
  • PMP (Project Management Professional)
  • Scrum Master (CSM/PSM)
  • ITIL
• Experience with cloud platforms:
  • AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Familiarity with:
  • DevOps practices (CI/CD pipelines, automation)
  • Virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V)
  • Monitoring and alerting tools
