Project Manager — Lighting (UAE)

Build Station is seeking an experienced Project Manager – Lighting with a strong background in architectural and technical lighting projects across the UAE. This role is ideal for a commercially driven professional who understands specifications, delivers value-engineered solutions, and successfully converts opportunities into executed projects.

Key Responsibilities• Manage and grow architectural and technical lighting projects across the UAE• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the lighting sector• Leverage existing relationships with consultants, contractors, developers, and PMCs• Understand project specifications and promote value engineering solutions• Convert project opportunities into confirmed Purchase Orders — not just quotations• Coordinate closely with Estimation, Design, and internal teams to ensure solutions are feasible, compliant, and deliverable• Develop tailored lighting solutions aligned with client needs and project requirements• Prepare and present technical proposals, quotations, and presentations• Lead pricing strategy, margin protection, Incoterms, and payment term negotiations• Coordinate BOQs and quotations, apply costing factors, and ensure accurate, on-time submissions• Manage technical submittals and secure approvals for datasheets, samples, and mock-ups• Maintain strong prospecting discipline, CRM hygiene, and accurate revenue forecasting• Achieve revenue targets, flag risks early, and implement recovery plans• Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, consultants, and contractors• Attend site meetings for coordination, variations, and project follow-ups• Support collections when required• Stay current on lighting technologies, market trends, and competitor activity.

Technical & Professional Requirements• 3–5+ years of experience managing and selling lighting projects in the UAE• Strong understanding of lighting specifications including CCT, CRI, beam angles, IP/IK ratings, drivers, and basic lighting controls (DALI / 0–10V)• Ability to read architectural drawings, RCPs, and interpret lux calculations and reports• Working knowledge of lighting brands and vendors commonly used in the UAE• Strong Excel skills with disciplined reporting and forecasting• Professional and clear communication via email and WhatsApp• Confident spoken English• Valid UAE driving license and own vehicle
