The Role
You need to have worked in Europe to apply for this role, this a role with a consultancy so experience in that sector is highly preferred but if you've worked in prime residential as a contractor, we can still have a discussion. This role is suited to an experienced Project Manager from a luxury residential interior design consultancy background, with a track record of delivering large scale private villas of circa 40,000 sq ft. The successful candidate will be comfortable operating in highly detailed, design-led environments, managing demanding private clients, and coordinating complex teams across design, procurement, and site delivery. European market experience is essential, bringing a clear understanding of construction standards, working practices, and expectations at the highest end of the residential sector. • Proven experience delivering ultra luxury private residential interior design projects • Background within an interior design consultancy environment • Experience managing large scale villas typically around 40,000 sq ft • Strong understanding of luxury finishes, bespoke joinery, and high value detailing • Confident managing private clients and high-expectation stakeholders • European market experience is essential and non-negotiable
Requirements
The Project Manager will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of high value luxury residential interior design projects, acting as the central point of coordination between the design team, consultants, contractors, and clients. This role requires strong control of programme, cost, and quality, with a hands-on approach to site delivery while protecting design intent and build quality throughout the project lifecycle. • Manage luxury residential interior design projects from concept through to completion • Coordinate interior designers, architects, MEP consultants, and specialist contractors • Lead programme planning, project reporting, and risk management • Oversee tendering and procurement of contractors, FF&E, and bespoke packages • Monitor site progress, quality, and compliance with agreed design and technical standards • Manage variations, change control, and commercial matters • Act as the main client contact, providing clear and structured communication • Ensure delivery aligns with European construction standards and best practice
