Project Manager – MEP

PTWL is seeking an experienced and results-driven MEP Project Manager to oversee and manage all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) works across villa and residential compound projects in the UAE. The ideal candidate will be responsible for end-to-end project delivery, ensuring quality, safety, cost control, and timely completion.

Key Responsibilities1. Project Leadership & Execution

• Lead and manage all MEP works across villa and residential compound projects.
• Take full ownership of project delivery from initiation to final handover.
• Ensure projects are executed in line with approved drawings, specifications, and client requirements.
• Drive successful completion of projects within scope, timeline, and budget.

2. Planning & Coordination

• Prepare and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Ensure smooth workflow between design, procurement, and site execution teams.
• Attend project meetings and provide technical and progress updates.

3. Technical Oversight

• Review shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements.
• Ensure all works comply with UAE authority regulations and project specifications.
• Provide technical guidance and resolve engineering-related issues on site.
• Ensure proper integration of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, firefighting, and ELV systems.

4. Site & Team Management

• Supervise site engineers, foremen, and technicians to ensure efficient execution.
• Monitor daily site activities and ensure productivity targets are achieved.
• Resolve site issues promptly to avoid delays or disruptions.
• Ensure coordination between all MEP disciplines and other trades.

5. Cost & Procurement Control

• Manage procurement of MEP materials and subcontractor services.
• Monitor project costs, variations, and budget performance.
• Ensure efficient use of resources and cost control across all activities.
• Support commercial teams in evaluating claims and variations.

6. Quality, Safety & Compliance

• Ensure all activities comply with health, safety, and quality standards.
• Enforce adherence to UAE regulations and project-specific requirements.
• Conduct regular site inspections and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
• Maintain high workmanship and installation standards.

7. Progress Monitoring & Reporting

• Track project progress and provide regular updates to management and clients.
• Identify risks, delays, and challenges and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and reporting systems.

8. Testing, Commissioning & Handover

• Oversee testing, commissioning, and system performance validation.
• Ensure proper preparation and submission of handover documentation.
• Coordinate final inspections and client approvals for project completion.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 7–10 years of UAE experience in MEP project management.
• Strong background in residential projects (villas and compound developments preferred).
• Excellent knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, electrical, and ELV systems.
• Strong understanding of UAE authority regulations and approval processes.
• Proven leadership and team management capabilities.
• Strong decision-making, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• UAE Driving License preferred.
