Location: Santa Monica, CA (Full-Time, On-Site/Hybrid)

About Us: We are a Santa Monica-based interior design firm specializing in luxury residential and commercial projects. Our studio is known for delivering thoughtful, high-end interiors with a strong emphasis on detail, quality, and seamless project execution. We collaborate closely with clients, architects, and contractors to bring each vision to life.

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Manager & PurchasingAgent to oversee the execution and procurement aspects of our interior design projects. This role is critical in ensuring projects run smoothly—from concept through installation—while managing all purchasing, vendor coordination, and logistics.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management:

  • Oversee multiple interior design projects from design development through installation
  • Coordinate with designers, clients, contractors, and vendors
  • Procurement of all items needed for a project using our Interior Design purchasingsoftware, Design Manager
  • Track project timelines, budgets, and deliverables
  • Schedule and conduct site visits, installations, and project meetings
  • Ensure all project details are executed accurately and efficiently

Purchasing & Procurement:

  • Manage all purchasing for furniture, fixtures, materials, and finishes
  • Prepare and track purchase orders, invoices, and budgets
  • Coordinate with vendors, workrooms, and suppliers
  • Track shipments, deliveries, and resolve any order issues or damages
  • Maintain accurate procurement records and schedules

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years experience in interior design project management and/or purchasing
  • Knowledge of Interior Design accounting programs such as Design Manager or Studio Designer/Webware
  • Experience working in an interior design firm or related industry
  • Strong knowledge of FF&E procurement processes
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail
  • Proficiency in design and project management tools (Studio Designer, Ivy, QuickBooks, AutoCAD, etc. preferred)
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

Preferred:

  • Experience with high-end residential or hospitality projects
  • Established vendor and supplier relationships
  • Familiarity with Los Angeles-area resources and showrooms
