Project Manager – Sterile Processing Technician

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager – Sterile Processing Technician to lead and oversee sterile processing operations supporting high-volume surgical services at the Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center in Houston.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary onsite Project Manager and point of contact with the VA COR

• Ensure daily staffing coverage for all required tours of duty (24/7 operation)

• Oversee sterile processing services supporting:

  • Main Operating Room

  • Urology, ENT, Speech Pathology

  • Anesthesia

  • Cardiology Cath Lab

  • Pulmonary Bronch Lab

  • Sterile Processing Services (SPS)

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a Sterile Processing Technician / Medical Supply Technician

• Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience in sterile processing or hospital operations
