Project Manager / Technical Lead

This role is ideal for someone who combines deep hands-on engineering expertise, strong people leadership, and cross-cultural project experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Development & Delivery Design and implement core system features and complex logic.
• Conduct rigorous code reviews to ensure quality, security, and maintainability.
• Lead technology selection and system architecture with scalability in mind.
• Technical Support & Maintenance Oversee complex technical investigations for Japanese customers.
• Analyze product specifications, customized features, and workflow-linked issues.
• Lead emergency responses, from temporary recovery to RCA.
• Prioritize and manage maintenance and enhancement requests across customers.
• Organizational & Team LeadershipBuild and scale self-managing engineering teams.
• Transfer operational knowledge through clear documentation and training.
• Evaluate engineers, define career paths, and support long-term retention.
• Lead recruitment, technical assessments, and interviews.
• Promote knowledge sharing, incident learning, and psychological safety.
• Bridge Communication & CultureTranslate business context (“Why” and “Who”) from Japan into actionable local understanding.
• Establish “Japanese-standard” quality benchmarks (performance, UX, delivery discipline).
• Optimize workflows using Japan–Pakistan time-zone overlap for overnight delivery.
• Manage stakeholder expectations by clearly communicating risks and constraints.

Qualifications:

• Must Have10+ years of software development experience
• Proven engineer/team management experience
• Experience working on overseas or cross-border IT projects
• Nice to HaveKnowledge of IT infrastructure, cloud, and system operations
• Familiarity with RPA tools and SDLCVB, .NET, C# experience
• PCI DSS awarenessWeb applications & web scraping knowledge
• ITIL Foundation / CompTIA A+ / Network+ (or equivalent)AWS, Azure, or GCP certificationsSecurity-related certifications
