Project Manager-(– Treasury, Risk, Finance) in Banking Treasury domain

We have an urgent requirement for Project Manager-(– Treasury, Risk, Finance) in Banking Treasury domain with our client based in Bahrain.

Banking Treasury PM + ALM + Quantum/Treasury Systems + Basel/IFRS + GCC Banking Experience--- Must

Strong experience in Managing Treasury/ALM/Quantum implementations-- Must

Banking Treasury Domain Expertise (non-negotiable)-- Must

Treasury Systems Implementation / Upgrade Experience -FIS Quantum-- Must

Regulatory & Finance Knowledge (Basel III and IFRS 9)-- Must

GCC Banking Experience with banks in Bahrain, UAE, or KSA-- Must

The Project Manager is responsible for leading the end-to-end delivery of Budget, governance, risk, and vendor management, Multi-country stakeholder management.

  • Program Oversight
  • & Strategic Alignment
  • Lead end-to-end delivery across all assigned projects, ensuring alignment with group-level strategic objectives, regulatory requirements, and treasury transformation goals.
  • Stakeholder Management
  • Engage senior stakeholders across Treasury, Risk, Finance, IT, and external vendors in UAE & KSA, ensuring clear communication, expectation management, and timely decision-making.
  • Project Planning & Roadmap Management
  • Develop and maintain integrated project plans, timelines, and dependencies across:
  • Asset Liability Management (ALM) System
  • Deal Tracker Upgrade
  • Treasury Overseas Scope
  • Quantum Upgrade
  • Governance & Reporting
  • Establish strong governance frameworks, including steering committees, status reporting, and escalation mechanisms to ensure transparency and control.
  • Budget & Resource Management
  • Oversee project budgets, resource allocation, and cost optimization across multiple geographies, ensuring efficient utilization and financial discipline.
  • Risk & Issue Management
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks—especially those related to regulatory compliance, cross-border operations (UAE/KSA), and system upgrades (Quantum, ALM).
  • Vendor & Third-Party Coordination
  • Manage relationships with system vendors, implementation partners, and consultants, ensuring delivery against SLAs and contractual obligations.
  • Regulatory & Compliance Assurance
  • Ensure all projects comply with central bank regulations, IFRS requirements (for ALM), and local compliance standards in Bahrain, UAE, and KSA.
  • Change Management & User Adoption
  • Drive organizational change initiatives, including training, communication, and user onboarding for upgraded systems like Deal Tracker and Quantum.
  • Quality Assurance & Delivery Excellence
  • Ensure all deliverables meet quality standards through rigorous testing (UAT, SIT), validation, and post-implementation reviews, minimizing operational disruption.
