Project Manager With Salesforce

Position: Salesforce Project Manager
Clearance: US Citizenship required due to Federal Government project regulations

About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced and certified Salesforce Project Manager to lead end-to-end CRM implementations for enterprise and Federal clients. The ideal candidate brings a structured project management discipline anchored by PMP certification, combined with deep hands-on familiarity with the Salesforce platform. You will be the single point of accountability for delivery quality, stakeholder alignment, and team performance across every phase of the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:
Project Delivery and Lifecycle Management
Lead the full project lifecycle from discovery and requirements gathering through design, development, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support. Develop and maintain detailed project plans, milestones, and delivery roadmaps that keep every workstream on track and within scope.

Stakeholder and Client Engagement
Act as the primary point of contact for business stakeholders, executive sponsors, and technical teams. Facilitate regular project reviews, status updates, and steering committee meetings. Translate technical progress into clear business-relevant communication for non-technical audiences.

Agile and Hybrid Delivery Execution
Manage sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives within Agile and Scrum frameworks. Apply Waterfall or hybrid methodologies where project governance or Federal compliance requirements demand structured stage-gate delivery.

Risk, Scope, and Budget Governance
Proactively identify, log, and mitigate project risks and issues. Manage scope change through formal change control processes. Monitor project financials and resource allocation to ensure delivery remains within approved budgets and timelines.

Team Leadership and Coordination
Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams comprising Salesforce developers, business analysts, QA engineers, integration specialists, and client-side stakeholders. Foster a collaborative, accountable team culture focused on delivering measurable outcomes.

Quality Assurance and UAT Oversight
Oversee User Acceptance Testing planning and execution, ensuring delivered solutions meet both functional requirements and business expectations before go-live. Manage defect tracking, resolution prioritization, and sign-off processes.

Qualifications and Requirements:
Experience
A minimum of 10 years of project management experience, with at least 5 years leading Salesforce CRM implementations or similar enterprise technology programs. Proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to stakeholder satisfaction in both commercial and Federal environments.

Salesforce Platform Knowledge
Working knowledge of core Salesforce products including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and MuleSoft integrations. Familiarity with Salesforce Data Cloud, Einstein AI, and Agentforce is a strong advantage. Ability to engage credibly with Salesforce architects and developers without needing to write code.

Methodology
Strong command of Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies. Experience working within SAFe or other scaled Agile frameworks for larger program delivery is preferred.

CertificationsRequired: PMP (Project Management Professional) and Salesforce Certified Administrator. Preferred: Salesforce Certified Sales Cloud or Service Cloud Consultant, Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I, and CSM (Certified Scrum Master).

Technology Fluency
Comfort working across modern enterprise technology environments including cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure, integration and API frameworks, DevOps and CI/CD pipelines, and data governance practices relevant to regulated or Federal industries.

Soft Skills
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present confidently to executive leadership. Strong conflict resolution, negotiation, and organizational skills. A natural ability to build trust with both technical teams and business stakeholders simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience delivering projects on Salesforce Government Cloud or within FedRAMP-authorized environments. Active security clearance or eligibility for Federal clearance. Familiarity with Federal procurement standards and compliance requirements.
