Job Summary
The Project Mechanical Engineer will support end-to-end project lifecycle activities related to mechanical systems across Polaris Parks’ industrial and residential developments. This includes design review, site execution follow-up, coordination with contractors, and technical compliance assurance. The role bridges office-based project management with on-ground technical implementation, ensuring delivery to scope, schedule, and quality expectations.
Key Responsibilities

Review mechanical design drawings, technical submittals, and BOQs to ensure compliance with project requirements and authority regulations.

Coordinate mechanical scope within the overall project plan and ensure timely execution in alignment with civil, electrical, and architectural timelines.

Liaise with MEP contractors and consultants to resolve site conflicts, approve shop drawings, and verify material compatibility and specifications.

Monitor HVAC, plumbing, drainage, and firefighting installations; ensure adherence to approved drawings, technical standards, and QA/QC protocols.

Assist in preparing submissions and obtaining approvals from relevant government authorities (NUCA, Civil Defense, Utility Authorities) for mechanical systems.

Support procurement team with technical evaluation of mechanical items and recommend material submittals in line with the approved specifications.

Participate in inspection, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems; coordinate punch lists and ensure client-ready handover documentation.

Prepare progress reports, update mechanical execution logs, and maintain organized documentation across all project stages.
Qualifications:
Education & Experience Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Construction Engineering

3–5 years of proven experience in project-based mechanical systems for industrial/residential developments

Strong understanding of HVAC, firefighting, plumbing, and drainage systems

Experience with design reviews, authority approvals, and site coordination

Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and Civil 3D

Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Familiar with engineering software (HAP, Duct Sizer, Pipe Flow, etc.)

Knowledge of Egyptian building codes and MEP regulatory requirements
-
Living in or near the 6th of October city is a MUST.
