Project Planner

We are seeking an experienced Project Planner to join our Developer-side Projects Team. This role is critical in ensuring time, cost, and contractual control across our developments by closely managing planning, progress, and contractor compliance in line with the Conditions of Contract and BOQ.

Role Description

The Project Planner will be responsible for developing and controlling project schedules while ensuring that the contractor fulfills all contractual and technical obligations as per the signed contract, BOQ, and engineer’s requirements. The role requires strong coordination with the Engineer, Contractor, and internal stakeholders to protect the developer’s commercial and delivery interests.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage project schedules from planning to handover
• Monitor actual vs planned progress and report delays or risks
• Ensure contractor compliance with Conditions of Contract and BOQ
• Support review of variations, claims, and extensions of time with the Engineer
• Coordinate planning matters with contractors, engineers, and internal teams
• Provide weekly and monthly progress reports to management

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
• 3+ years of experience in real estate development or contracting (developer-side preferred)
• Strong knowledge of Conditions of Contract, BOQ, and construction planning
• Proficiency in MS Project
• Experience coordinating with engineers and contractors in the UAE
• Strong analytical, contractual, and communication skills
