Project Scheduler

ROLE SUMMARY (Purpose of the Role)

The Engineer – Planning – Site (Scheduler) is responsible for developing, maintaining, and monitoring construction schedules for Data Center site activities. This role ensures alignment between planned and actual progress, supports delay analysis, and generates lookahead schedules to guide daily and weekly operations. The Scheduler plays a key role in integrating site inputs into planning systems and enabling timely project completion..

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Prepare the detailed baseline Data Center project schedule using planning tools (Primavera P6 or MS Project) based on the contract, BOQ, and scope of work.
• Regularly update the schedule to reflect actual progress, resource deployment, and site conditions, while analyzing variances from the baseline plan.
• Generate daily, weekly, and monthly lookahead schedules in coordination with the execution team to guide field operations and ensure readiness of work fronts.
• Monitor and report key schedule performance indicators (KPIs), such as Planned vs. Actual progress, SPI (Schedule Performance Index), and critical path adherence.
• Identify delays or deviations from the original schedule, conduct root cause analysis, and recommend mitigation actions in consultation with project stakeholders.

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

Minimum Qualifications

• B.E. / B.Tech in Civil / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering; certification in Project Planning/Primavera is preferred.

Language Skills

• Proficiency in English and Hindi; knowledge of the local language is beneficial for site communication.

EXPERIENCE

• 6-10 years
• Hands-on experience in developing, updating, and tracking project schedules using planning tools and coordinating with various functions to ensure timely execution of construction activities.
