A DAY IN THE LIFE
As a Project Scheduler, you’ll support Blattner’s Operations and Project Management teams by creating, updating, and analyzing resource-loaded project schedules. You’ll work closely with Project Managers to keep schedules accurate, aligned with project progress, and compliant with Blattner procedures and client contract requirements.
STEP INTO THE ROLE

Builds initial baseline schedule for complex projects ensuring compliance with Critical Path Method (CPM) best practices and contract requirements in accordance with Blattner policy and procedures.

Responsible for schedule risk/range analysis, risk management, schedule analysis impacts and input to project change order process.

Provides project schedule updates to the project team in a timely manner to ensure all contract deliverable dates are met.

Provides advanced training as needed to field personnel on understanding project schedule systems, processes, and reports.

Provides project analysis to the Project Manager and leadership team on the current state of the project.

Provides current project schedule for monthly project review meetings and presents at customer meetings as requested.

Prepares Time Impact Analysis to analyze schedule impacts as well as suggests recovery plan.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED

A bachelor’s degree in construction management, Industrial Engineering Management, Engineering, Supply Chain Management or related field; or combinations of related education and experience required.

Two or more years of experience in project scheduling or a combination of experience in construction and scheduling.

Expert with scheduling software (Primavera, Microsoft Project).

Expert in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).

Working knowledge of Risk Analysis software (i.e. -Primavera Risk, Acumen Risk, Risk, Safran, etc.)

Working knowledge of Analytical Tools (I.e. -Acumen Fuse, Power Bi, Tableau, etc.)
