Project Signage Estimator

Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Signage Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for signage, branding, and fabrication projects. This role requires strong knowledge of signage materials, production techniques, installation methods, and a keen eye for detail to ensure competitive and profitable quotations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for signage, printing, fabrication, and branding projects.
• Review project drawings, specifications, and requirements to determine scope and materials needed.
• Source and liaise with suppliers and subcontractors for quotations on materials and services.
• Calculate labor, material, and time requirements for projects.
• Develop competitive and accurate proposals/quotations for clients.
• Maintain a database of material costs, supplier rates, and labor charges.
• Work closely with sales, design, and production teams to ensure project feasibility and profitability.
• Analyze client requirements and suggest cost-effective solutions without compromising quality.
• Assist in project planning, budgeting, and value engineering as required.
• Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and new technologies in signage and fabrication.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, or related field (preferred).
• Proven experience as an Estimator in the signage, printing, or fabrication industry.
• Strong knowledge of signage materials (acrylic, metal, vinyl, LED, etc.) and fabrication processes.
• Proficient in reading technical drawings, BOQs, and specifications.
• Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); knowledge of AutoCAD/Estimation software is a plus.
• Strong analytical, mathematical, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
