Project Superintendent Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Project Superintendent to lead and manage commercial construction projects from preconstruction through completion. This key leadership role is responsible for ensuring projects are executed safely, efficiently, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial construction, exceptional leadership and communication skills, and the ability to proactively manage field operations, subcontractors, and project coordination. The Project Superintendent will play a critical role in maintaining project momentum, resolving challenges in the field, and delivering successful outcomes for clients and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all daily on-site construction activities to ensure compliance with project plans, schedules, specifications, and safety standards.
• Coordinate closely with project managers, subcontractors, architects, engineers, inspectors, and clients throughout all phases of construction.
• Develop, maintain, and monitor project schedules utilizing Microsoft Project and other construction management software to ensure timely project delivery.
• Supervise subcontractor performance and workmanship to ensure quality standards, contract requirements, and project expectations are consistently met.
• Conduct regular jobsite inspections to ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, company safety policies, and quality control procedures.
• Identify and resolve field issues proactively to minimize delays and maintain productivity.
• Maintain organized project documentation, daily reports, and communication logs.
• Foster a positive, professional, and team-oriented work environment on the jobsite.

Qualifications & Experience

• Proven experience (minimum 5 years) as a Project Superintendent within commercial construction TI environments.
• Strong knowledge of construction scheduling, blueprint and specification reading, sequencing, and field coordination.
• Demonstrated experience supervising large-scale commercial projects involving multiple trades and subcontractors.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Thorough understanding of OSHA safety requirements and jobsite safety enforcement.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively manage teams, subcontractors, and client relationships.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
