Job Description:

Eastern Solutions, LLC is an environmental equipment and support service company that was founded in 2010. Eastern Solution's support service industry continues to expand and now offers our clients a full range of offerings.

Job Purpose:

Environmental Project Technician will play a key role in providing support for the senior project managers. The Project Technician must be flexible to changes in the work schedule/extended workdays, be available to respond on short notice and have a willingness to travel out of town for overnight projects.

Some Heavy Equipment Operator experience is preferred

Field Technicians Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 40 hour OSHA HAZWOPER or ability to obtain
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to perform physical labor under direction of crew leads
• Ability to follow instructions and work well individually and as part of a team-Able to prioritize, follow work processes, and job scope requirements
• Ability to respond to out of town projects as needed
• Industry/Construction experience preferred
• Mechanically inclined
• Must pass DOT physical including drug and alcohol screening
• Valid Driver's License with good driving record

Position Description (Project Technician)

Support of various environmental remediation projects included not limited to:

• Ensuring the health and safety of the crew, customer, and site by adhering to Eastern Solutions safety policies and procedures by identifying, communicating and mitigating hazards
• Taking an active role on crews by participating in both scheduled and emergency response based projects
• Assisting in loading of equipment and supplies for project needs
• Being able to exert moderate physical effort, including lifting up to 50lbs
• Working in a variety of weather conditions
• Excavation
• Environmental remediation
• Stormwater repair
• Remediation system operations and maintenance
• Grounds maintenance at various environmental sites
• Operation of light and heavy equipment for clearing and maintaining of the over growth on various sites
• Maintain heavy equipment and light equipment (oil changes, light repairs, etc.)
• Writing clear field reports of site activities each day

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Experience:

• Construction/Industrial: 3 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Preferred)
• CDL (Preferred)
