Project/Construction Manager

Job Description:

Our client is seeking experienced Project Construction Managers, preferably US or UK Nationals, to oversee and manage various construction projects. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical expertise, project management skills, and industry knowledge to ensure successful project execution.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of construction projects, from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Oversee site operations, including coordination of resources, materials, and procurement to ensure efficient project progress.
• Utilize primavera software and other project management tools to develop detailed project schedules, track progress, and mitigate potential delays.
• Collaborate with engineering teams, contractors, and stake holders to resolve technical issues and ensure project specifications are met.
• Implement effective documentation and reporting procedures, maintaining accurate records of project activities, expenditures, and compliance documentation.
• Lead regular project meetings, providing updates on project status, addressing concerns, and facilitating communication among project stakeholders.
• Proactively identify and mitigate project risks, implementing appropriate corrective actions to ensure project success.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering
• Strong understanding of project execution methodologies and site operations.
• Proficiency in Primavera software and other project scheduling applications.
• Extensive experience in site constructions, particularly in the installation of steel
• Storage tanks according to API 650 standards, silos, pressure vessels and structural steel works.
• Thorough knowledge of industry regulations and standards, with focus on ensuring compliance with ISO standards.
• Prior experience working directly for main contractors, with proven track record of successful project delivery.
