Prompt Engineer Intern

We are seeking a curious and highly motivated Prompt Engineering Intern to support the optimization and refinement of AI models used in our healthcare technology solutions. The selected candidate will collaborate closely with our development and product teams to design, test, and improve prompts that enhance the performance, accuracy, and reliability of large language models (LLMs).

Position: Prompt Engineering Intern

Shift Timing: 07:00pm-04:00am

Location: Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan

Department: Digital Marketing

Key Responsibilities

• Design, test, and refine structured prompts for Large Language Models (LLMs ) to generate accurate, context-aware, and reliable responses.
• Collaborate with the technology and AI teams to explore innovative ways of integrating AI capabilities into healthcare workflows, particularly in medical billing and revenue cycle management (RCM).
• Analyze AI-generated outputs to identify inconsistencies, inaccuracies, or edge cases and optimize prompt strategies accordingly.
• Experiment with different prompt structures and frameworks to improve model performance and response quality.
• Build and maintain a prompt library and documentation of best practices for internal teams.
• Assist in testing AI features within products such as HealUS EMR and Maximus PMS to ensure reliable performance in real-world healthcare scenarios.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning, Software Engineering.
• Tech-savvy business students with hands-on exposure to AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, or similar platforms) are also encouraged to apply
• Strong academic projects or coursework in AI/ML
• Strong interest in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Generative AI technologies.
• Excellent written communication skills with the ability to structure clear and logical prompts.
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Ability to iterate quickly, learn from feedback, and experiment with different prompt engineering techniques.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to evaluate AI-generated responses critically.
