We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Property Accountant to join our team and play a vital role in managing financial operations for our property portfolio. Duties

  • Lead daily accounting tasks including Billing, Recording payables, Paying vendors, etc.
  • Prepare financial statements including but not limited to profit & loss statement, balance sheet, cash flow, earnings and cash flow forecasts, budgets, and other documents
  • Record asset, liability, revenue, and expense entries by compiling and analyzing account information
  • Prepare general and sub-ledger reconciliations
  • Assist in the implementation of systems to support the accounting function in the Company
  • Prepare, research, resolve, enter recurring and reversing journal entries, and reconcile balance sheet
  • Month-end / Year-end financial closing activities
  • Monthly analysis of fixed asset reconciliation
  • Substantiate financial transactions by auditing documents
  • Maintains financial security by following internal controls
  • Assist in the development of accounting personnel
  • Other duties as required by Management and Ownership

Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 5+ years of Accounting
  • Attention to Detail, Deadline-Oriented, Reporting Research Results
  • Confidentiality, Time Management, Data Entry Management, General Math Skills
  • Ability to Multi-Task with Various Entities, Excel Proficient
  • Residential or Commercial Property Management Experience Preferred
  • Experience with Skyline, MRI or Yardi Preferred
  • Excellent organizational skills, a proactive work ethic, and accountability

Pay: $85,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
