Property Assistant

Position Overview

We’re looking for a reliable, go-to Property Assistant to support a variety of tasks around the property. This is a flexible, hands-on role that changes with the day. You’ll help us keep the shop running smoothly behind the scenes and make sure our property and team have what they need to shine.

Typical Tasks

• Take out trash and recycling
• Clean and refill bird feeders
• Run errands (bank + supply runs)
• Tidy up around the property and garden areas
• Keep flowers looking good on patio
• Clean in the store
• Help with small repairs or odd jobs as needed
• Move or unpack boxes and displays
• Assist with setting up for events or seasonal changes

Ideal Candidate

• Dependable and proactive
• Willing to do a variety of tasks, big and small
• Comfortable working outdoors and getting a little dirty
• Has a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Can work independently and take direction well
• Friendly and positive attitude

Schedule & Compensation

• 10–15 hours per week, works best if you are here 3-4 days a week (one weekend day) for 2-4 hours at a time. Open to different scheduling situations
• Willingness to potentially help in the store occasionally if we were understaffed would be a bonus
• Must be available for occasional quick requests or errands
• Great job for someone who enjoys working with their hands and helping out behind the scenes!
• Job would be seasonal through the end of December and pick back up again in May.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $14.65 - $15.00 per hour
