Property & Casualty Insurance Service Agent

About the Role

As a Property & Casualty Insurance Service Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our policyholders, providing outstanding customer service and support. You will handle a variety of service requests, assist with policy changes, and help ensure our clients’ insurance needs are met efficiently and professionally. In addition to servicing existing accounts, you will have the opportunity to contribute to agency growth through account rounding and cross-selling additional coverages to current clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond promptly and professionally to incoming calls, emails, and in-person inquiries from policyholders.
• Process policy changes, endorsements, renewals, and cancellations accurately and in a timely manner.
• Educate clients on their coverage options, answer questions, and resolve concerns to ensure satisfaction and retention.
• Identify opportunities to recommend additional products or coverages that meet clients’ evolving needs (account rounding).
• Maintain up-to-date client records and documentation in our agency management system.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve agency goals and deliver a seamless client experience.
• Stay current on industry trends, carrier guidelines, and state insurance regulations.

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty Insurance License required (Virginia).
• Previous experience in an insurance agency or customer service role preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a genuine desire to help others.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Proficient with computers and comfortable learning new software systems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a supportive team.

Pay: $56,160.00 - $80,000.00 per year
