Join our dynamic team as a Property Damage Assessment Specialist, where you'll play a vital role in evaluating property damage claims with precision and integrity. As well as being provided with support system to reduce the volume of pending files, quickly and accurately close claims, and earn great compensation at the same time!

We pay:

Hourly for assignments given $39-$45/hr

Flat rate for assignments received $1,000 / loss starting

You'll be at the forefront of helping clients navigate complex damage evaluations while maintaining a focus on customer service excellence. Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough inspections of damaged property to assess extent and cause of damage, ensuring compliance with relevant standards
  • Utilize estimating software to develop accurate repair cost estimates that reflect current market values and industry standards
  • Analyze claim details, supporting documentation, and evidence to identify potential discrepancies
  • Negotiate settlement amounts with claimants, contractors, or other stakeholders to reach fair resolutions that align with policy coverage and legal guidelines
  • Provide exceptional customer service by clearly communicating assessment findings, explaining repair options, and addressing client inquiries professionally
  • Maintain organized records of assessments, correspondence, and supporting documentation using specialized estimating software

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in property damage assessment within insurance industries
  • Strong analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex information accurately and efficiently
  • Familiarity with residential damage assessments
  • Proficiency in Xactimate estimating tools and financial software used for claims processing and reporting
  • Excellent negotiation skills coupled with a customer-focused approach to service delivery
  • Organizational skills that enable managing multiple assessments simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
  • Knowledge of fraud prevention techniques relevant to property damage claims is highly desirable
