Ascendant is looking for motivated, confident and experienced Property Damage Claims Adjusters to handle the investigation and settlement of commercial automobile property damage claims. Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to effectively managing an inventory of commercial automobile and general liability claims by maintaining good production numbers, high customer service levels, and accuracy. The property damage claims adjuster will investigate, evaluate, confirm the applicable coverage and negotiate settlements of commercial auto and general liability claims.

The ideal candidate should possess the following:
Minimum four years of claims adjusting experience handling Automobile Property/Injury, Personal Injury, Medical Payment, Casualty or Property Insurance Claims - additional insurance claims experience is a plus.
Comprehensive understanding and knowledge of 1st and 3rd Party insurance claim investigations and processes for Automobile Property/Injury, Personal Injury, Medical Payment, Casualty or Property Insurance Claims.
Knowledge of property damage(Automobile and Structure), Bodily, and Personal injury to 3rd parties arising from liability situations.
Prior experience interpreting liability policy language and Florida state statutes is required. Ideal candidates should have a proven track record of determining applicable coverage and liability decisions based on facts and law presented as well as through additional fact-gathering and investigations.
Experience and Skillset:
Must have a valid Florida adjusters license – 520/620.
The ability to develop cost-effective strategic plans.
Excellent time management and customer service skills.
Well-developed verbal and written communication skills.
Experienced problem solving and organizational skills.
Extremely detail-oriented, self-motivated and disciplined.
Ability to perform with excellence in a paperless digital environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
