What You’ll Do:

As a Claims Representative at the Introductory, Intermediate or Senior level, you’ll handle complex property claims. Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough field investigations to assess damage and determine liability.
• Evaluating coverage, collecting evidence, and preparing detailed documentation.
• Negotiating settlements with claimants, policyholders, attorneys, and other involved parties.
• Managing reserves and making settlement decisions within assigned authority.
• Coordinating with vendors, engineers, legal counsel, and recovery specialists.
• Supporting subrogation efforts and responding to storm and catastrophe events.
• Providing exceptional customer service and serving as a resource for junior adjusters.

Requirements to Succeed:

Introductory Level:

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent work experience).

  Intermediate Level:

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent work experience).
• 3+ years of complex multi-line or discipline-specific claims experience.
• Completion of AIC Core Courses, or 4+ years of experience as a substitute.

Senior Level:

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent work experience).
• 6+ years of complex claims experience.
• Completion of full AIC designation, or 8+ years of experience as a substitute.

Additional Requirements:

• Valid Missouri Driver's License.
• Willingness to travel for field investigations and catastrophe response.
• Ability to work in varied environmental conditions, including outdoor and hazardous sites.
