Property Maintenance Technician

Job Title: Full-Time Property Maintenance Technician

Compensation:  $45K - $50K (Based on Experience)
Location:  Columbus Oh
Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday (occasional weekends if needed)

We are seeking a reliable, skilled, and trustworthy Maintenance Technician to oversee and perform general maintenance and repair duties across several business and personal properties. This individual must be self-motivated, honest, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a clean driving record, and a wide range of maintenance experience.

• Perform general property maintenance including carpentry, drywall repair, painting, minor plumbing and electrical work (non-licensed), and lawn care.

• Respond to maintenance requests and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.

• Ensure proper upkeep of multiple commercial and residential properties.

• Use a company-provided van to travel between job sites (business use only).

• Occasionally transport packaged materials, including non-controlled medical or pharmaceutical supplies, in compliance with all applicable laws and protocols.

• Maintain accurate records of work performed, hours worked, and materials purchased.

• Utilize a company-issued credit card responsibly for authorized purchases related to maintenance tasks.

• Perform periodic inspections of properties and report on their condition.

• Ensure work areas are safe, clean, and organized.

• Maintain tools, equipment, and vehicle in good working condition.

• Proven experience in general property maintenance (at least 3–5 years preferred).

• Strong skills in carpentry, painting, drywall, basic plumbing, and minor electrical work.

• Experience with lawn and outdoor property care.

• Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently.

• Trustworthy with access to private residences and financial resources.

• Clean driving record and valid driver’s license (background check required).

• Ability to pass a drug screening and background check.

• Strong communication and organizational skills.

• Must be comfortable working alone and managing a flexible schedule.

• Prior experience in a similar role servicing both residential and commercial properties.

• Familiarity with safe handling and delivery of medical supplies or pharmaceuticals.

• Basic computer or smartphone proficiency for tracking work orders and expenses.
