Job Overview:
We’re looking for an organized, dependable Assistant Property Manager to join our team! In this role, you’ll work closely with the Property Manager to keep things running smoothly day-to-day, help residents feel at home, and support overall property operations. If you enjoy staying busy, working with people, and being part of a team, this could be a great fit for you.
What You’ll Do:
- Help manage the day-to-day operations of the property
- Give tours and show available units to potential residents
- Process rental applications, including background and credit checks
- Prepare leases and make sure all paperwork is complete and accurate
- Collect rent and assist residents with questions or concerns
- Coordinate maintenance requests and help ensure they’re handled quickly
- Assist with marketing and leasing efforts to keep units filled
- Keep records organized and up to date
- Pitch in with general office tasks like invoicing and admin support
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience in property management, leasing, or admin work is a plus
- Familiarity with leases and basic contract processes
- Understanding of Fair Housing laws is helpful
- Strong organizational skills and ability to juggle multiple tasks
- Friendly, professional communication and customer service skills
- Someone who can handle challenges calmly and find solutions
- Basic knowledge of property or facilities management is a bonus
- Experience with LIHTC programs is a plus (but not required)

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
