Property Management Coordinator (Bilingual English/Spanish)

We are seeking a bilingual Property Management Coordinator to support a residential rental portfolio of approximately 70 units located in Springfield, Ohio. This position will have office hours and field hours.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate property leasing activities, including tenant screening, lease signing, and move-in/move-out processes, ensuring compliance with Fair Housing regulations and Section 8 guidelines
  • Manage tenant relations by addressing inquiries, resolving conflicts through effective negotiation and conflict management strategies, and providing outstanding customer service
  • Oversee property maintenance requests by liaising with vendors to ensure timely repairs and upkeep
  • Oversee renovations of properties as necessary
  • Maintain accurate data entry of lease agreements, rent payments, maintenance logs, and legal documentation
  • Administer legal administrative tasks such as preparing contracts, reviewing landlord-tenant law compliance, and managing legal filings related to property operations
  • Assist in the preparation of reports on occupancy rates, rent collections, maintenance status, and other key performance indicators to inform decision-making

Requirements

  • Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish is essential for effective communication with diverse tenants and stakeholders
  • Proven experience in property management or real estate administrative roles with familiarity in LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit), Section 8 programs, or similar affordable housing initiatives
  • Strong knowledge of landlord-tenant law, Fair Housing regulations, and legal contract administration
  • Excellent customer service skills paired with professional phone etiquette and conflict resolution capabilities
  • Demonstrated ability to handle data entry accurately while managing filing systems efficiently
  • Office experience supporting property leasing or facilities management functions is highly desirable
  • Ability to negotiate effectively while maintaining positive relationships with tenants and vendors
  • Strong organizational skills with experience in administrative tasks such as filing, data management, and contract review

Pay: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour
