Overview
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of our residential Property. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills, a solid understanding of property management regulations, and excellent customer service abilities. This role requires a proactive approach to maintaining property standards, ensuring tenant satisfaction, and adhering to all legal and regulatory requirements, including Fair Housing regulations. The Property Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for tenants, vendors, and ownership, managing lease agreements, maintenance requests, and financial transactions efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Manage property leasing processes, including tenant screening, lease signing, and move-in/move-out procedures using platforms such as Yardi and OneSite
- Oversee property maintenance and facilities management to ensure properties are well-maintained and compliant with safety standards
- Handle tenant relations with professionalism, addressing concerns promptly while practicing conflict management and negotiation skills
- Administer rent collection, data entry, filing, and record keeping using property management software like Yardi and CMMS systems
- Coordinate property inspections, lease renewals, and contract negotiations with vendors and service providers
- Maintain accurate financial records related to property operations including budgets, contracts, and reports
- Conduct regular site visits to assess property conditions and address any issues proactively
- Upsell additional services or amenities to tenants when appropriate to enhance customer satisfaction and revenue streams
- Prepare reports for ownership regarding occupancy rates, maintenance status, legal compliance, and financial performance
Requirements
- Proven experience in property management or real estate administrative roles with a strong understanding of landlord-tenant law and Fair Housing regulations
- Familiarity with property management software such as Yardi, OneSite, or similar platforms
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle conflict resolution effectively
- Excellent negotiation skills for lease agreements and vendor contracts
- Legal administrative experience related to contracts and compliance documentation
- Office experience including data entry, filing systems, phone etiquette, and administrative support functions
- Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in record keeping and reporting
- Valid administrative license or certification preferred but not required; relevant certifications in property management are a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
