Property Manager – Tenant Success & Community Impact

Revolution Renting LLC
A Verus Praedium Holding Company

Location: Twin Cities Metro
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: In-Person (~8:00 AM–4:00 PM CST)
Compensation: $50,000–$55,000/year + Monthly Performance Bonus
Benefits: 14 Days PTO, Flexible Schedule, Professional Development Support

About the Opportunity

Most property management jobs are about collecting rent and fielding complaints. This one is different.

At Revolution Renting, we believe the rental industry needs to change. We manage 250+ residential units across the Twin Cities metro, and we do it with a mission: empower renters, innovate the landlord-renter relationship, and build real community.

We partner with 30+ nonprofits to connect tenants with financial literacy programs, rental assistance, educational grants, social services, and more. We call this Tenant Success — and it is one-third of this role.

We’re a fast-growing, vertically integrated real estate group spanning property management, construction, investment, and brokerage, backed by Verus Praedium Holding. That means you are not joining a static company — you are joining a platform that is building something. In fact, the parent company is launching a nonprofit in the coming quarters, and this role will have a direct pathway into that initiative.

How You’ll Ramp Up

In your first few months, you will shadow and work closely alongside Deb, our Director of Property Management, serving in an executive assistant capacity as you learn the portfolio, the systems, and the team.

Think of it as an accelerated crash course — you will sit in on key decisions, see how we operate at every level, and build the relationships you need to eventually lead your own department. Once you are up to speed, you will step fully into the role below.

The Role: Three Equal Pillars

You will be a department head reporting directly to our Director of Property Management, leading one of three key divisions on the PM team, alongside Leasing & Renewals and Maintenance, Inspections & Turnovers.

You will also have an Assistant Property Manager on your team who you will manage, delegate to, and develop — so you are not doing this alone. You own the strategy, the systems, and the outcomes.

1) Rent Collection & Financial Performance

  • Lead and manage the rent collection process across the full 250+ unit portfolio, delegating day-to-day follow-ups to your Assistant PM while you focus on strategy and escalations
  • Build and improve payment processes with nonprofit partners and subsidy programs, including Section 8
  • Establish clear, compassionate but firm systems — we have been growing fast and need someone to bring structure and accountability to this department

2) Tenant Communications & Relationships

  • Own the tenant communication strategy across 250+ units — your Assistant PM handles routine inquiries while you manage escalations, complex situations, and the overall tenant experience
  • Build trust-based relationships grounded in respect and clear communication
  • Coordinate across departments — work closely with the Head of Leasing & Renewals, the Head of Maintenance, Inspections & Turnovers, and the Director of Property Management to keep the whole operation running smoothly

3) Tenant Success & Community Impact

  • Build and manage our tenant success program — connect tenants with our network of 30+ nonprofit partners offering financial literacy, rental assistance, educational grants, job resources, and social services
  • Identify which partnerships deliver the most value and train your Assistant PM to help share that information consistently across the portfolio
  • Help shape what “Tenant Success” looks like as we scale — you will be building this department from the ground up, with a direct growth path into the parent company’s upcoming nonprofit initiative

You’ll Thrive Here If You’re...

  • Friendly but driven: you genuinely care about people and you get stuff done without being told twice
  • Comfortable with ambiguity: we are building systems, not just following them
  • A straight shooter: you ask questions when you need help and you are not afraid to speak your mind
  • Mission-oriented: you believe property management can be more than collecting rent — it can change lives
  • Tech-curious: experience with AppFolio is a huge plus, though not required; familiarity with Trello and Google Workspace is helpful, and bonus points if you are excited about AI tools

What We’re Looking For

  • Property management experience is a plus, but not required
  • Strong candidates from related fields such as hospitality, social work, nonprofit management, customer success, or community development are encouraged to apply
  • Recent graduates with the right drive, communication skills, and mission alignment are absolutely encouraged to apply
  • Experience with subsidized housing or Section 8 is a plus — we will train the right person
  • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills
  • Reliable car and clean driving record, as you will be mobile across the Twin Cities
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a 250+ unit portfolio with multiple moving parts

What We Offer

  • $50,000–$55,000 base salary, depending on experience
  • Monthly performance bonus
  • 14 days PTO
  • Flexible scheduling
  • Educational grants and career development support
  • Company laptop
  • Direct access to leadership and a clear growth runway — into senior PM, the upcoming nonprofit initiative, or another lane in our vertically integrated platform
  • Compensation can flex: if you bring the experience and impact, we are a growing company — make the case and we will listen

If you want real responsibility, a mission that matters, and a front-row seat to a company that is building something different — this is your shot. Apply and let’s see if we click.

Job Type: Full-time
Work Location: In person — Twin Cities Metro

A few fast Indeed notes:

  • Indeed usually displays better if you avoid too many symbols in the header line.
  • Replacing the dot-point bullets you had with standard hyphen bullets helps paste cleaner.
  • I would also consider adding a job title at the very top, since candidates often skim by title first.

A clean title for this would probably be:

Tenant Success & Resident Relations Manager

Or, if you want it a little broader:

Property Management Department Lead – Tenant Success & Resident Relations

I can also give you a version optimized even more for hiring performance on Indeed, meaning slightly more candidate-friendly and scannable while keeping your same voice.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year

Benefits:

  • Employee discount
  • Flexible schedule
  • Paid time off
  • Professional development assistance
