The Opportunity:
Equitysmith is seeking a visionary CFO and Strategic Capital Partner to join our leadership team. We are at the forefront of the Real-World Asset (RWA) revolution, bridging the gap between high-value Commercial Real Estate (CRE) in Latin America and global liquidity markets through AI-driven valuation and blockchain securitization.
Equitysmith is building our homegrown, civil-law-native tokenization-securitization infrastructure as an alternative to traditional bank loans. We empower our bank/trust partners to serve as co-administrators to securitize CRE assets, replacing the need for offshore service providers.
To streamline the process of qualifying CRE assets for securitization, we perform instant title searches, legal verifications, and liquidity audits using our proprietary AI valuation engine. We are now ready to scale across Colombia, Mexico, and Chile, and are seeking an experienced, well-connected CFO partner with the "financial gravity" to secure seed funding and underwrite our first institutional tokenization deals.
The Role:
This is not a traditional employment role. You will be a core member of the founding team, responsible for the financial architecture and capitalization of the platform. Your primary responsibilities include:
Capital Acquisition: Sourcing and closing Seed and Operating Capital rounds from your network of Angels, VCs, and Institutional Investors.
Deal Underwriting: Securing the funding and financial backing required to launch our inaugural pilot projects in Bogota, Mexico City, or Santiago.
Strategic Networking: Leveraging your "Rolodex" of bank trust managers (Fiduciarias), real estate developers, and legal/government officials to bypass traditional market friction.
Financial Engineering: Advising on the structuring of tokenized offerings to ensure they meet the rigorous standards of global institutional investors.
What You Bring to the Table:
Deep Network: You have high-level connections in the LatAm banking sector, top-tier law firms, and senior government/regulatory capacities.
Market Expertise: Strong understanding of Commercial Real Estate, Structured Finance, and the emerging RWA (Real-World Asset) tokenization landscape.
Fundraising Track Record: Proven ability to raise capital or manage significant investment funds.
Bilingual Capability: Fluency in English and Spanish is highly preferred to navigate multi national regulatory and investment environments.
Entrepreneurial Grit: A builder’s mindset with the desire to own a significant piece of disruptive multi-national startup. If you're simply looking for a paycheck without significantly contributing to our success, this is not a fit.
