Provider Recruitment Manager

Position Summary

The Manager, Provider Recruitment is responsible for leading and executing full-cycle provider recruiting for Specialist TeleMed and BridgeMed Locums. This role focuses on identifying and securing highly qualified telemedicine and locum tenens providers across all specialties while ensuring alignment with organizational growth, operational needs, and provider network objectives.

This position provides direct leadership of recruitment operations, including oversight of processes, performance metrics, and strategic sourcing initiatives. The Manager is accountable for driving recruitment outcomes, managing day-to-day departmental functions, and ensuring a high-quality candidate and stakeholder experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

Leadership & Management:

  • Provides direct leadership and oversight of the provider recruitment function
  • Responsible for hiring, onboarding, coaching, and performance management of recruitment team members (as applicable)
  • Establishes clear goals, performance expectations, and accountability measures aligned with organizational objectives
  • Manages department performance metrics and recruitment KPIs, reporting outcomes to senior leadership on a regular basis
  • Owns and oversees day-to-day recruitment operations, ensuring efficiency, consistency, and process adherence
  • Executes recruitment strategy within a defined scope, aligning with company growth and workforce planning needs
  • Develops recruitment policies and procedures. Assist with evaluating process, to identify potential improvements for both candidates and the company.
  • Stays current on regional and national physician hiring trends and practices; researches competitor's activities to keep informed of changes impacting company’s ability to hire and retain top physician talent. Provides input to improve physician-related processes.

Recruitment Strategy & Execution:

  • Manages full-cycle recruitment process across all phases, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer negotiation, and onboarding
  • Identifies and sources targeted Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers using a variety of creative and effective recruitment methods
  • Builds and maintains a strong pipeline of qualified candidates for both current and future organizational needs
  • Leads strategic sourcing initiatives, including cold calling, networking, and relationship development
  • Identifies and searches candidate database(s) for potential candidates/fit to open requisitions. Develops and manages hiring campaigns for physicians/APP’s and conducts follow-up calls to proactively reach candidates.
  • Develops and manages hiring campaigns and outreach strategies to proactively engage candidates
  • Stays informed on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activity to inform recruitment strategy

Marketing & Outreach:

  • Creates comprehensive practice descriptions for open opportunities and develops job postings for recruitment platforms
  • Manages and refreshes job board postings in alignment with recruitment expectations
  • Leads marketing efforts to promote opportunities through social media, job boards, conferences, and other channels
  • Researches and participates in job fairs, conferences, and professional events to enhance recruitment reach
  • Researches association publications, web sites and other appropriate resources on which to post Physician and APP opportunities
  • Assists in the development of recruitment marketing materials such as banners, posters, and digital content

Candidate Evaluation & Experience:

  • Conducts candidate screening and interviews using structured and consistent evaluation methods
  • Determines candidate fit through comprehensive review processes, including references, credential verification, and background research
  • Accurately communicates job expectations, responsibilities, and organizational culture to candidates
  • Coordinates and schedules interviews with internal stakeholders, including executive and clinical leadership

Systems, Process & Compliance:

  • Manages and maintains the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), ensuring accurate and up-to-date documentation of recruitment activity
  • Tracks and reports recruitment metrics, including pipeline activity, conversion rates, and hiring outcomes
  • Develops, implements, and improves recruitment policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and candidate experience
  • Ensures compliance with all applicable employment laws, regulations, and organizational policies
  • Provides ATS support and guidance to internal stakeholders as needed

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Builds and maintains strong relationships with internal teams
  • Establishes external partnerships with healthcare organizations, training programs, and recruitment sources
  • Collaborates cross-functionally to align recruitment efforts with organizational priorities
  • Communicates recruitment progress, challenges, and outcomes to senior leadership

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related discipline preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience and a demonstrated track record of accomplishments.
  • 3 years of recruitment experience in healthcare.
  • 3 years of experience in relationship management. 
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
  • Problem analysis and problem resolution at both a strategic and functional level.
  • Must work effectively with senior-level executives and staff; must also be able to work independently.
  • Professional with a passion for the job, able to employ unique marketing techniques.
  • Must have a strong interpersonal skills and good judgment and be capable of communicating with a diverse range of individuals.
  • Excellent computer skills including all MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) required.
  • Must have strong customer support orientation (for internal/external customers), demonstrated professional demeanor, and the ability to maintain confidential information.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $63,000.00 per year
