PRT English (Primary Teacher – English)

Position Overview:

The PRT English teacher is responsible for teaching English language skills to primary school students (Classes I to V). The teacher will focus on developing foundational skills in reading, writing, speaking, and listening while creating a nurturing and engaging classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach basic English language skills including phonics, vocabulary, grammar, and sentence formation.
• Develop students’ reading, writing, speaking, and listening abilities.
• Prepare lesson plans according to the CBSE/ICSE/State Board curriculum.
• Use creative and interactive teaching methods (stories, rhymes, activities, games).
• Conduct regular assessments and maintain student progress records.
• Assign classwork and homework appropriately.
• Maintain discipline and ensure a safe, positive learning environment.
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress.
• Participate in school activities, events, and staff meetings.
• Prepare students for internal examinations and evaluations.

Qualification & Eligibility:

• Bachelor’s Degree (B.A. English preferred).
• Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) or Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.).
• CTET qualified (Paper I) – Preferred/Required as per school norms.
• Good command over spoken and written English.
• Basic computer knowledge and smart classroom handling skills.

Experience:

• 1–2 years of teaching experience preferred.
• Freshers with strong subject knowledge and good communication skills may apply.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹8,732.76 - ₹16,000.00 per month
