Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver lessons: Create and implement engaging lesson plans, often using interactive and inquiry-based methods to teach fundamental math concepts.
• Assess student progress: Monitor and evaluate student understanding through assignments, quizzes, tests, and projects.
• Build foundational skills: Focus on helping students grasp key concepts in areas like arithmetic, geometry, and basic algebra.
• Foster a positive learning environment: Create a warm, engaging, and safe classroom to encourage a love for learning.
• Communicate with stakeholders: Collaborate with parents, other teachers, and school management to support student development.

Typical qualifications

• Education: A Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) is often mandatory.
• Subject knowledge: A science or math-related bachelor's degree is frequently required.
• Experience: Previous teaching experience is a plus, though some roles accept freshers with strong subject knowledge and communication skills.
• Skills: Excellent communication, patience, and adaptability are essential.
