Position Title: Primary Teacher (PRT) – Science
Department: Primary Wing (Classes I–V)
Board: CBSE
Location: Euro International School, Sikar, Rajasthan
Reporting To: HOD / Vice Principal

Job Purpose

The PRT – Science is responsible for building basic scientific understanding, curiosity, and observation skills in primary students (Classes I–V) through engaging, age-appropriate, and activity-based teaching methods aligned with CBSE guidelines.

Key ResponsibilitiesTeaching & Classroom Delivery

• Teach Science / Environmental Studies (EVS) to Classes I–V as per CBSE curriculum
• Prepare daily lesson plans using interactive and child-friendly methods
• Use stories, activities, experiments, visuals, and demonstrations to explain concepts
• Create a joyful, safe, and inclusive classroom environment

Assessment & Evaluation

• Conduct worksheets, oral tests, projects, and continuous assessments
• Observe and record student learning progress and behavior
• Provide constructive feedback to students and parents
• Maintain student portfolios and academic records

Student Development

• Encourage curiosity, observation, and questioning habits
• Promote environmental awareness, hygiene, and safety
• Support social, emotional, and moral development of students
• Identify learning difficulties and provide remedial support

Co-curricular & Institutional Responsibilities

• Participate in school assemblies, activities, celebrations, and events
• Coordinate with parents during PTMs and school meetings
• Maintain classroom displays and learning corners
• Attend trainings, workshops, and staff meetings

Qualifications

• Graduate (B.Sc./B.A.) with Science background
• D.El.Ed. / B.Ed. (Mandatory as per CBSE norms)
• CTET qualification preferred (as applicable)

Experience

• Teaching experience at primary level preferred
• Freshers with strong subject knowledge and child-handling skills may be considered

Skills & Competencies

• Understanding of child psychology and primary teaching methods
• Ability to explain concepts in a simple and engaging manner
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Creativity in activity-based and experiential learning
• Basic proficiency in digital teaching tools

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
